NTpage Watcher Registry Settings

The following lists the registry settings used by the program for watching the Event Logs:

Note: All these settings are set by the NTpage Client when you are installing and configuring NTpage Watcher.

Registry Settings for NT Event Log Monitoring

Registry Key: SOFTWARE\\Inventive\\NTpWatch

LogFileName name of the NTPWatch log debug file

LogFileSize how big the log file can grow

LoggingLevel Level of errors 0=All 1=Error 2=Critical

CommunicationMethod NamedPipes or TCPIP

IpAddress IP address of server

IpPort IP port number of server communication

NamedPipeAddress Machine name of server

NamedPipeName Name of pipe to communicate over

NotifyGroupName Group name to send messages to

Registry Settings for Program Watching

The following lists the registry setting used by the program for watching Programs:

Registry Key: SOFTWARE\\Inventive\\NTpWatch\\ProgramWatcher

NumberOfPrograms Number of different programs it is watching

Registry key for each program

SOFTWARE\\Inventive\\NTpWatch\\ProgramWatcher\\ProgramX

ProgName Program Name (will be sent in alarm message)

FileName Name of File to Watch

RenameTo Name of File to Rename To (should be in same directory)

AlarmTimeoutMin How long to wait for file to appear before alarm
